A management contract is a type of service contract generally concluded between a company and its manager, which provides for the services that the manager will provide to the company in return for a certain remuneration. This contract is characterized by the independence between the manager and the company. It is important to avoid that labour courts consider that there is a subordinate relationship and, consequently, an employment contract. It is not advisable to provide, in the case of the manager, for a schedule to be respected in the performance of services, or for obligations similar to those imposed on employees.
