Put Option Clause

A clause whereby a shareholder undertakes to buy the shares of another shareholder at the time the latter decides, at a fixed or determinable price.

It is a very effective withdrawal instrument. In practice, it is often a sanction for non-compliance with certain commitments on the part of the debtor of the transaction.
