Movement of Persons

The notion of mobility here refers to issues related to the migration of people and labour around the world.

Mobility tends to develop with diplomatic representations, multinational companies, or as part of the development of start-ups abroad.  It is found among students, who can study all or part of their studies abroad, in scientific careers and in the field of certain sports (notably football).

International mobility is a complex field that covers all the issues related to sending workers abroad or receiving foreign workers.

The globalisation of the economy and the ever-increasing flexibility of the world of work have the effect of increasing the mobility of workers. This mobility may take the form of expatriation or secondment.

The evolution of the European Union requires people to take into account the opportunities offered by the economies of other member countries.

European trade involves the application of sometimes complex and often misunderstood tax and social rules.
